The vehicle accelerates and climbs through the atmosphere.
Stages or spacecraft separate according to the mission profile.
Payload deployment, spacecraft flight or other mission operations follow.
Reusable hardware may return for recovery where the mission permits it.
Reusable hardware is central to SpaceX’s approach. Operational details depend on the vehicle and mission.

OFFICIAL SOURCE ↗Explore public SpaceX vehicle information, play an illustrative launch animation and save a local mission concept. The layout follows the original six-view terminal workspace.
The animation uses a simple scripted progression. Displayed altitude, velocity and timing are not live telemetry or a physics-validated trajectory. Selecting a vehicle changes the scenario label, not a certified vehicle model.
Start or pause flight, reset the simulation and choose playback speed. Keys 0–5 navigate the six views. Vehicle filters narrow the catalogue. Mission profiles are saved in this browser and can be downloaded as JSON.
